Road Restrictions: LOAD RESTRICTIONS Pursuant to Section 348.16, Wisconsin Statutes, the Bayfield County Highway Department will impose road restrictions beginning at 12:00 P.M. – MONDAY, March 03, 2025. Please check our web page for updated information. bayfieldcounty.wi.gov – Departments – Highway. All Class A County Road restrictions (lettered roads) shall be posted for 6 Tons maximum per single axle and 10 ton maximum per tandem axle group. Class B County Highway D shall be posted at 60% of Class A Highways. All non – divisible overweight permits will be suspended at this time. Exception to the posting: CTH-E from USH 63 to Nelson Rd., CTH-F from USH 63 westerly 1-mile, CTH–J north from STH 13 for 1.2 miles. Town Board Notice

The most recent posting on the website and in the paper regarding the terms ending for the Town of Delta Board is one that is required per state statutes.  It was not stating that the entire Town of Delta Board was not going to run again for their positions.  This notice informs the electors that the terms for the current board memebers are coming to an end.  Elected positions are just that, elected by the residents, and are not guaranteed seats.  The notice that was posted informs all Town Residents that if they were interested in running for the Town Board or Clerk/Treasurer Seats, the time is coming soon.
